Kenyans with Natural Hair
I just found this little gem! The girls over at Kurly Kichana made a video! It is your basic welcome to natural hair, this is my regimen video and it is so lovely to see natural hair spread beyond US (this blog's main readers) and UK (my home away from home) and Europe. Great job girls!
I love it! Awww, they and their hair are so beautiful, too.
ReplyDeleteAwww Thanks for putting up the video, really appreciate it and look out for more videos :-) Much love from Kurly Kichana
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching this video! These young women are lovely and seem to be truly enjoying their journey. Kudos to them! I posted the video on my friend's fb wall. She inspired me to go natural 8 years ago, and is now living in Kenya. She is a judge on the Kenyan dance show Sakata, and she is (obviously) natural. I'm sure she will enjoy it as well.
ReplyDeleteAfrican Queens.
ReplyDeleteHi, a kenyan gal here who just tuned natural 3 months ago. Both your blog and kurly kichanas have been so helpful and inspiring. I am finally learning how to do my own hair at the age of 35! Thank so much
ReplyDeleteI love it.I am natural too, but it has been really hard. I always had short hair and now I don`t know what to do .
ReplyDeleteOOps! Looks like I asked too soon..should have watched the whole video first. Anyway, I also wanna know what your take is on braiding hair coz I have just braided my hair but asked te salon lady to use low-heat when straightening my hair. Thanks for the tips :-) I also have a blog (naturalkenyangirl.com) would totally appreciate it if you subscribed to it :-) thanks
