I colour treat my hair, so I know it doesn't grow too fast. And reading this made me curious, so I pulled my ruler out of the drawer and measured my new groth - it's been less than half an inch in t-w-o months. I wonder if anyone's hair really grows half an inch in a month. Maybe it's just one of these myths that drive women crazy. I also have stretched a dry braid or two and noticed shoulder length. I don't have a schedule to check my length, either, but I just finished a 6 month challenge at the beginning of August, and took measurements at the beginning and end of it. I think, from here on out, breaking out the tape measure every six months or so will be good enough for me.Nefertitihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08379364984933969497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356365023823603303.post-17794820045585379132011-08-24T18:13:30.732+01:002011-08-24T18:13:30.732+01:00I USED to check my hair every three months. I do look back at past pictures to get a sense of the difference I do find the since my goal is on shrunken hair, I do not feel the need to blow dry, straighten, or tape measure to check on my goal. I know it will take 2-3 years, so no need to obsess if it is going okay until 5/2013.Smallfrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17495049379463766389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356365023823603303.post-10049054029242617112011-08-24T16:11:06.078+01:002011-08-24T16:11:06.078+01:00Hi JC,

Just last night I had a moment of curiosity about the length of my hair so I whipped out the trusty tape measure (which I NEVER do) and actually measured it. I do have a length goal and probably won't be checking the length via tape measure again because I just don't see the point. I guess now that I have the data (the scientist in me...LOL) I can refer to it as a reference as I reflect on my hair journey.Mikkimuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12078432050245236128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356365023823603303.post-83070617342298412102011-08-24T15:51:27.030+01:002011-08-24T15:51:27.030+01:00Never!
